Custom Blue

Originally from South London, Custom Blue have recorded and produced for Island, Farrout and K7 Records prior to releasing with Ho Hum Records.

Having morphed a sound from classic singer/songwriter to a more electronic blend, the band are not afraid to embrace different genres on any one release.

Their debut album 'All Follow Everyone' was met with great critical acclaim on it's release in 2002 on Universal, with the single "So Low" featured in the first of The Transporter films.

Since signing in 2007, Custom Blue have released two singles, and EP and the brilliant album 'All Will Be Well' on Ho Hum, all being made in the UK and New York where one half of the band, Simon Shippey, now resides.

In 2011 the band returned with EP3 'The Tree' and a collaboration with Ho Hum artist Sophie Barker followed on the folky track "Riverbend" which was one of Radio One DJ Rob da Bank's 'Sunrise' picks last year.

Currently working on their third album, Custom Blue will be releasing more material in 2013.
