Lucky Jim

Gordon Grahame, born in Edinburgh, cut his teeth playing pubs and busking before setting of to Europe for a couple of years and refining his songwriting craft to the point where, on a move to Brighton, he was snapped up by SKINT records and recorded four albums including "Our Troubles End Tonight", which contained the now famous "You're Lovely To Me" track, which has been on National TV rotation, accompanying the Kingsmill Bread Campaign of 2009. This seminal album went to # 1 in the UK folk chart.

We were delighted to work with Gordon on a two track DL. "Jellybean Confessional" features Ian Thomas on kit and Jeff Mann on bass as well as Alex Pilkington on backing vocals and guitars and has a Beatles feel, whilst the flip-side "Wheels" was recorded on location at the Slaughtered Lamb venue and is a beat-inspired slice of Americana.
